Words to Live By:

1. Plan early and don’t wait on booking vendors. If you find someone you like that is within budget, book them! This moment in time the vendor booking timelines that you find on Pinterest, Weeding Wire, Zola, etc. should be padded by a couple of months. It was a challenge & stressful when vendors started to get booked faster and earlier due to COVID wedding delays and reschedules. It all worked out and I love all of the Delaware vendors I used, but it would have been less stressful if I padded my vendor timeline a bit.

2. Enjoy the planning process! Especially towards the end I started to feel burnt out of wedding planning. Looking back, it all felt like a lot in the moment but take it in strides and plan early to enjoy the process more. I now miss it!

3. If there is something extra you want (photo booth, neon sign, etc.) book it! It might be a bit more money, but you’ll enjoy the memory of having it at your special day.
